4- Halo 5: Guardians (2015)
Halo was once the king of all FPS games on literally all platforms but thanks to major Titans like call of Duty, Halo was forced to take a step way back. Although the Halo 5 was without a doubt one of the best games to arrive on the Xbox One in the past decade. The story itself shakes things up by having two playable characters: Master chief and Spartan
Locke. Whereas a lot of players weren't fond of that particular direction, it showed 343 studios willingness to experiment. 6- Sea of Thieves (2018)
Sea of Thieves has reached a lofty new milestone in terms of its ever-growing flotilla of, scoundrels Microsoft and Rare have revealed. The online pirate's-life-for-me simulator has officially racked up more than 10 million players since it first embarked into the well-chummed water of live service gaming in March 2018. This game also offers the essential pirate experience, from sailing and fighting to exploring and looting – everything you need to live the pirate life and create all-new legends. With no set roles, you have complete freedom to approach the world, and other players,
however you choose. Whether you’re adventuring as a group or sailing solo, you’re bound to encounter other crews in this shared-world adventure game – but will they be friends or foes?
Also engage in ship-to-ship crew battles with cannon, pistol and cutlass, pursuing rival ships through raging storms. Sail in pursuit of deadly bounties or ferry cargo through hostile waters. 7- Gear 5 (2019)
Players step into the shoes of Kait Diaz for the first time who, following the events of Gears of War 4, is trying to come to terms with the death of her mother, unravel the twisted roots of her family tree and deal with her own personal baggage. Meanwhile, humanity is being threatened once more - this time by the Swarm, the successor to the Locust horde. With Gears 5 being marketed as the "biggest Gears to date" it's unsurprising that there's more chances for exploration than ever. You've now got the wonderful (but frustrating to control) skiff vehicle which allows you to explore the biggest maps we've seen to date. It's a palate cleanser that gives players a little breathing room between big missions, giving them a little time to soak up the beautiful world The Coalition has created and generally just slowing the pace when you need it.
While Gears 5 may not shine when it comes to narrative or experimental elements, there is no denying it truly remains one of the slickest shooters on the market. And then there's the Multiplayer mode. Gears 5's multiplayer modes fall under three camps: Horde, Escape or Versus mode. Horde mode sees you battling alongside other players to fend off 50 increasingly difficult waves of AI-controlled horde enemies. Gears 5 becomes the Most-Played Xbox Game Studios Title since Halo 4 Breaks XGP Records

9- State of Decay 2: Heartland (2019)

Despite being more difficult, Heartland is a traditional narrative with some twists that picks up 18 months after the end of State of Decay. As zombies and plagues are wont to do, they’ve mutated. A starting pair of survivors make their way to the titular heartland, and that’s when state of Decay 2’s gameplay loop starts with some big changes. The biggest change is that the player’s band of survivors is set at one base. There’s no more roaming and trying to size up for a bigger, better situation. Instead, players are locked down and forced to work with the singular base. The survivors that players meet in the world, to compensate, have powerful perks and passive abilities that bolster the base and its operations. Players choose between the two survivors at the start of the Heartland campaign. The campaign features two new stories. One woman is trying to find her father, and one man is attempting to find his hero, who he has only spoken to over the radio. Can you survive against the horde of brain-seeking zombies?

10- Titanfall (2014)
After it's much hype and anticipation, Titanfall did not disappoint. The game has been generating interest since the very moment it was first introduced. Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. When Humanity lives in the deepest reaches of explored space in a vast region known as The frontier. It contains many well-known and inhabited solar systems, but many more worlds remain uncharted. Most people will never travel this far away from normal civilization, but for pioneers, explorers, mercenaries, outlaws, and soldiers - the Frontier offers both adventure and opportunity. At the start of every match in this online multiplayer blaster, 12 human opponents must face each other on foot. But then up to two minutes in, everyone gets the option to call in their titan mech – and then it is dropped down from the sky, first in a crackle of booster jets then a deafening whoosh and a metallic clang as its mighty feet hit the deck. You climb in, and now you are a walking tank, sending missile scorching over the rooftops.

Titanfall is a bombastic treat, a hulking armoured paeon to Japanese mech anime like Gundam and Macross in the form of an incendiary first-person shooter. Within a few seconds of play, you can also catch the fleeting ghost of genre legends like Doom, Quake and Counter Strike, but all of them have been assimilated into a modern blockbuster experience. We hope you have enjoyed the list of our Top 10 best Xbox One games of the last decade. Stay tuned for more updates that will come your way!
